Overview
In this finance-focused role, you will manage general and cost accounting for an international hospitality group in Switzerland, ensuring accurate reporting and strong internal controls. You will support management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to enable strategic decisions. You will handle Swiss CO/GAAP FER reporting, VAT and tax matters, and act as a key liaison with auditors, banks, and authorities. You will drive process optimisation, ERP/treasury initiatives, and digitalisation efforts, contributing to sustainable growth and high-quality financial operations. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Manage general and cost accounting activities
- Prepare and analyse monthly and annual financial statements under Swiss GAAP FER and CO
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting with financial analysis
- Manage Swiss administrative and tax matters (VAT, corporate taxes, social insurance)
- Coordinate relationships with external auditors, banks, and stakeholders
- Establish internal controls and ensure quality of financial processes
- Utilise and optimise finance systems; support ERP/treasury initiatives (Dynamics 365, Kyriba)
- Act as finance contact for Swiss authorities on accounting, tax, and finance
- Provide reliable financial information to support operational and strategic decisions
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Several years of experience in accounting and finance in an SME or international group
- Strong knowledge of general and cost accounting
- Experience with Swiss GAAP FER and Swiss CO reporting
- Knowledge of Swiss VAT and tax requirements
- Experience with ERP/finance systems (MS Dynamics 365, SAP, Abacus, Sage)
- Excellent MS Excel
- Fluent in English; German and/or French advantageous
