Overview
In this role you drive revenue by creating and delivering sponsorship and partnership programs for a global, membership-based not-for-profit. You will cultivate relationships with sponsors, manage activation and benefits, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery at conferences and events. Your work supports the organisation’s growth and international engagement with senior partners and industry stakeholders. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Develop and execute strategies to secure sponsorships and partnerships aligned with revenue goals
- Identify, approach, and onboard new sponsors and commercial collaborators
- Manage partner relationships as primary point of contact throughout the lifecycle
- Negotiate sponsorship terms and ensure timely delivery of commercial benefits
- Create and refine sponsorship packages, exhibitor options, and activation opportunities
- Coordinate sponsor participation for conferences, events, and industry programmes
- Oversee exhibitor management, floor plans, and sponsorship logistics with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure contracted benefits are delivered and maintain sponsor satisfaction
- Monitor sponsorship pipeline, forecast revenue, and report on performance
- Collaborate with marketing, events, finance, and leadership teams
- Support continuous improvement of partnership processes and commercial operations
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 3–7 years of experience in sponsorship sales, partnerships, business development, events, or account management
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
- Experience in pharma/lifescience sector considered a strong plus
- Proven revenue generation through commercial partnerships or sponsorships
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with corporate partners, exhibitors, or key accounts
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Customer-oriented mindset with strong commercial acumen
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Fluent English; additional European languages advantageous
- CRM systems experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Willingness to travel occasionally for event delivery
