Overview
In this international financial accounting role, you support group-wide reporting and compliance from Zurich. You will maintain the accounting function, optimize processes, and assist cross-border entities. You’ll work with IFRS, Swiss GAAP, and statutory filings while partnering with senior finance leadership. The position offers exposure to complex projects in a multinational environment and meaningful impact on financial controls and reporting accuracy.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements under IFRS and Swiss statutory requirements
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable; process invoices and bank transactions
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts, debtors, and creditors
- Review employee expense claims and corporate credit card statements
- Prepare Swiss VAT returns and other statutory filings
- Support external annual audit processes
- Maintain and improve accounting processes, internal controls and reporting procedures
- Support Internal Control System (ICS) activities
- Assist with finance-related projects and process improvements
- Provide accounting support to international group entities (Switzerland, Italy, Austria)
- General finance administration as required
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Commercial education with Swiss Federal Diploma in Finance & Accounting or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years in financial accounting
- Solid knowledge of Swiss Code of Obligations (OR), Swiss GAAP and IFRS
- Experience in construction, engineering or infrastructure sector advantageous
- Fluency in English; German beneficial
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite or comparable ERP system an asset
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
