Main Responsibilities
- Design, synthesis and characterization of novel photoactive molecules that enable high-performance materials used in cutting-edge display applications such as LCD, OLED, AR/VR,…
- Develop and optimize synthetic routes to improve yield, purity, scalability, and sustainability.
- Perform laboratory experiments independently while maintaining accurate documentation
- Characterize synthesized materials using analytical methods such as NMR,HPLC,UV-Vis spectroscopy, DSC and other thermal analysis techniques
- Analyze data and prepare technical reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary Team, formulation and application teams to evaluate Newly synthesized performance in display-related systems.
- Support scale-up activities and technology transfer to process development teams when required.
- Conduct literature and patent searches to identify emerging technologies and competitive developments.
Your Profile
- Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, or a related scientific discipline.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in synthetic/preparative chemistry, preferably in an industrial R&D environment.
- Sound knowledge of chemistry and chemical technologies, with experience in the synthesis and characterization of organic or functional materials.
- Hands-on experience with analytical techniques (e.g., NMR, HPLC, UV-Vis, DSC) and the interpretation of analytical data.
- Ability to prepare clear technical documentation and communicate scientific results effectively.
- Self-driven team player with strong analytical thinking, communication, and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent command of English and German.
