Head Accountant - Try and Hire 100%

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing key accounting functions including month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance. The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting knowledge with a proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Head Accountant – Try and Hire 100% Our client is a start-up company specialized in Neurotechnology that needs to build strong processes. Description Manage all aspects of the accounting department, including but not limited to financial reporting, general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax compliance Ensure that all financial reporting deadlines are met in a timely and accurate manner Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (Swiss & US GAAP & IFRS) Coordinate audits by external auditors and provide necessary information and support Serve as a business partner to other departments within the organization, providing financial analysis and decision-support as needed Stay abreast of changes in GAAP and tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance Manage special projects as assigned by senior management Need to perform other accounting activities such as journal entries posting, payroll entries and reconciliations Profile A successful Head Accountant (100%) should have: Bachelor/Master degree in accounting, finance, or a related field Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office tools Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Good understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards Fluency in English; French minimum B2, additional languages are a plus The ability to work independently, resilient Job Offer Our client offers you: An engaging role, starting very operational and you will build your own processes and team A temporary position with the potential for a permanent contract Opportunities to develop skills and help a company grow Flexible work (home office: 2 days) If you are ready to take the next step in your career as an Head Accountant (Try & Hire, 100%), we encourage you to apply today!
