For one of our clients, we are looking for a Junior Accountant FR / ENG in 100% permanent contract and based in Geneva. The collaborator will join the Accounting department of the company and support the accounting team in the day-to-day.

Our client is a financial services company managing multiple entities and bank accounts.

Missions

- Joining the Accounting department; - Recording accounting entries for various companies and bank accounts; - Processing bank transactions, intercompany operations, investment movements, foreign exchange revaluations, accruals, and prepayments; - Reviewing and controling supplier invoices and expenses; - Coordinating with Treasury for supplier payments; - Preparing bank and balance sheet reconciliations; - Assisting with quarterly funding requests and management accounts; - Supporting annual budgeting and year-end closing activities; - Maintaining accounting, banking, and administrative records; - Performing ad hoc analyses and supporting additional finance-related projects as required; - Reporting to the clients and the Management; - Participation to the day to day in the office.

Profil du candidat

- Accounting qualification and/or knowledge of accounting principles, ideally IFRS; - 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar accounting function; - Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong IT aptitude and the ability to learn new systems quickly; - Fluent in French and English; - Reliable, rigorous, detail-oriented, and organized; - Strong team player with a high degree of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
