Sales Director
A historic player in Swiss real estate for over 125 years, deRham is opening a new chapter in its development and wishes to strengthen its organisation to support its growth and transformation ambitions.
In this context, deRham is recruiting a Sales Director, responsible for overseeing all transactional activities of the group (residential, off-plan sales, high-end and investment properties), while also carrying out forward-looking reflection on the evolution of the Swiss real estate market, both in its traditional and premium segments.
Beyond commercial performance, the challenge is to contribute to the sustainable repositioning of transactional activity by anticipating market developments (digitalisation, new uses, client expectations, sustainability) and developing a differentiating offer.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the CEO, you take responsibility for the Sales Department and manage all transactional activities of the group. You define and implement the commercial strategy, develop the teams and support the evolution of the activity in a constantly changing market.
In this capacity, your main tasks are to:
- Develop activities in strategic segments (high-end residential, investment properties, off-plan sales) and strengthen commercial performance. - Structure a high-performing, client- and results-oriented organisation. - Support the evolution of the offer and practices by integrating market transformations.
Leadership and management
- Lead, unite and develop the sales teams. - Manage the P&L of the activity. - Establish a culture of performance, collaboration and high standards. - Support staff development and recruitment.
Commercial strategy
- Define and deploy the activity development strategy. - Analyse developments in the Swiss real estate market and adapt commercial directions. - Prioritise growth segments and develop partnerships. - Monitor performance indicators (turnover, margins, portfolio).
Business development
- Obtain and manage strategic mandates. - Develop and maintain relationships with institutional and private clients (investors, developers, family offices, private clients). - Mobilise your network to identify new opportunities.
Organisation and activity evolution
- Optimise processes, management tools and commercial practices. - Encourage the use of digital solutions, data and CRM to improve performance and client experience. - Contribute to the evolution of the offer in line with sector changes.
Coordination
- Work closely with other group departments. - Coordinate external partners involved in development projects. - Ensure regular reporting to General Management.
Candidate profile
Experience and skills
- Proven experience in real estate sales and brokerage in Switzerland (ideally 10 to 15 years). - Strong experience in business development, transaction negotiation and team management with P&L responsibility. - Excellent knowledge of at least one of the following segments: high-end residential, investment properties or off-plan sales. - Established professional network with key market players.

- Good understanding of Swiss real estate market developments and their impact on transactional activities. - Ability to integrate issues related to digitalisation, new uses, sustainability and client expectations into the commercial strategy. - Ability to combine strategic vision with operational execution.

Specific criteria
- Impeccable reputation (references, criminal record extract and debt enforcement office certificate required for registration in the Commercial Register). - Comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment and a human-sized structure.
