h3About Our Client /h3pOur client is an international organization located in Geneva. /ph3Job Description /h3p2-month contract starting quickly. /pulliParticipate to the implementation and expansion of the organization's Debt to Health initiative, using debt swap mechanisms to increase sustainable funding /liliStructure, negotiate, and execute bilateral and tripartite debt swap agreements with governments, creditors, donors, and development partners /liliIdentify and develop new D2H opportunities, increasing both the number and value of debt conversion transactions while improving efficiency and reducing transaction costs /liliManage stakeholder relationships and coordinate with country teams, donors, government officials, and external partners throughout the lifecycle of D2H transactions /liliMonitor the performance, compliance, and reporting requirements of D2H agreements, ensuring adherence to audit, governance, and contractual obligations /liliPrepare reports and provide updates to internal governance bodies, including finance and approval committees, as well as external stakeholders such as creditors and debtor countries /liliRepresent the organization in external meetings, conferences, and discussions related to debt relief, debt management, innovative finance, and health financing /liliBuild strategic partnerships with development banks, bilateral donors, financial institutions, and other organizations to strengthen and expand innovative financing initiatives /liliSupport fundraising and donor engagement efforts by promoting new Debt to Health commitments and contributions /liliContribute to the organization's broader innovative and blended finance agenda, including developing blended finance transactions, managing investment pipelines, and fostering collaboration with multilateral development banks and other development finance institutions /li /ulh3The Successful Applicant /h3pThe Specialist, Debt to Health we are looking for should bring the following background and experience : /pulliAdvanced degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Public Health, Health Economics, or a related field /liliStrong expertise in development finance and innovative financing mechanisms, particularly blended finance, structured finance, or similar funding models /liliProven ability to originate, structure, and manage complex financial transactions in developing or emerging markets /liliDemonstrated experience building and maintaining relationships with multilateral development banks, development finance institutions, donors, private investors, and corporate partners /liliStrong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in complex, matrixed, and multicultural environments /liliExcellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving capabilities, coupled with an entrepreneurial mindset and a track record of developing innovative solutions /liliSolid project management experience, including financial oversight, risk assessment, reporting, compliance, and coordination of cross-functional initiatives /liliDeep interest in global health financing /li /ulh3What's on Offer /h3pThe opportunity to join a major non-profit organization for an initial 2-month mandate. /ph3Quote job ref: JN- /h3 #J-18808-Ljbffr
