Job Description Manage day-to-day financial accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance and reconciliations Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes Maintain and monitor fixed asset accounting Independently prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings Support the preparation of statutory financial statements Prepare monthly financial reports and analyses for management Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies Collaborate closely with local and international stakeholders across the business Support audits and provide required financial documentation Participate in process improvement initiatives within the finance function The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field Several years of experience in a broad Accountant position within an international environment Proven ability to independently manage month-end and year-end closing activities Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Fixed Asset Accounting Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting Good understanding of Swiss accounting principles and financial processes Fluent in English (mandatory) Good German skills are highly preferred Proficient with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel Hands-on, detail-oriented, and highly accurate working style Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a small team Reliable, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality work Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Available to start by 1 September at the latest (earlier preferred) What's on Offer Opportunity to join a well-established international healthcare company with a strong market presence Varied and hands-on accounting role covering the full spectrum of financial accounting Exposure to an international business environment and collaboration with global stakeholders Highly experienced and supportive finance team with long employee tenure Modern offices in Zurich Oerlikon with excellent public transport connections Flexible working model with up to 50% home office #J-18808-Ljbffr
