About Our Client Our client is a prestigious international organization headquartered in Basel. To support its Strategic Programme Office (SPMO), they are looking for a PMO Specialist who will play a key role in governance, reporting, and programme coordination activities. This position offers exposure to strategic initiatives, senior stakeholders, and a highly collaborative international environment.
Job Description
Supporting project and programme governance activities across strategic initiatives
Maintaining and enhancing PMO templates, tools, frameworks, and reporting standards
Preparing dashboards, KPI reports, and management presentations for key stakeholders
Monitoring project risks, issues, dependencies, and action plans
Tracking project progress and ensuring timely reporting of key metrics
Maintaining accurate project documentation, records, and repositories
Assisting with resource planning and resource utilization tracking
Supporting budget monitoring, financial reporting, and variance analysis
Coordinating steering committees, governance forums, and stakeholder meetings
Preparing agendas, meeting minutes, and follow-up action trackers
Providing operational and administrative support to Programme Managers and project teams
Acting as a central point of coordination for PMO-related documentation and reporting
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification preferred
+2 years of experience in an international PMO, Project Support Office, Programme Office, or similar project governance environment
Experience supporting governance forums, coordinating meetings, and maintaining project documentation
Demonstrated experience building and maintaining management dashboards and performance reporting solutions
Strong proficiency with project reporting and visualization tools, including Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and ServiceNow
PRINCE2 Foundation, CAPM, or similar project management certification is advantageous
Familiarity with AI-enabled reporting or analytics tools is considered a strong asset
Strong analytical mindset with excellent numerical and problem-solving capabilities
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across different levels of the organization
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently while collaborating within project-driven teams
