Job Description Manage end-to-end accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger postings, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close.Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, management reports, and P&L reporting.Lead budget preparation, financial forecasting, and expenditure tracking.Analyse budget variances and provide financial recommendations to support decision-making.Ensure compliance with Swiss accounting requirements, VAT regulations, and statutory obligations.Act as a key contact for VAT-related topics, supporting international transactions and country-specific requirements where applicable.Coordinate audit preparation and liaise with external auditors, accountants, and advisors.Drive financial process improvements, internal controls, and reporting efficiencies.Support ERP optimisation and data quality initiatives, with a preference for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, controlling, or financial management.Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and P&L management.Proven experience creating, managing, and monitoring budgets and forecasts.Practical knowledge of Swiss VAT and statutory reporting requirements.Exposure to international VAT regulations or cross-border VAT consulting is highly desirable.Hands‑on ERP experience, ideally with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.Fluent English is required; German is considered a strong advantage.Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently in an international environment.
