As a Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) for AI, you will design and implement scalable cloud-based solutions that harness data and artificial intelligence to solve complex business challenges. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client needs, develop innovative strategies, and ensure seamless integration of AI technologies into existing systems. Your role involves staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and analytics workloads, enabling you to provide expert guidance and drive continuous improvement in your clients\‘ digital transformation journeys.

We are looking for a CSA, specializing in AI, who is passionate about driving our customers’ transformation on Microsoft Azure. This is a customer-facing role, owning the technical relationship between the customer and Microsoft, helping customers leverage their Microsoft investments through architecture and operational health engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND multiple years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting.
• Deep Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, especially in AI services such as Azure OpenAI, AI Search, AI Foundry, and Azure Machine Learning. Experience with Azure Cosmos DB and application development services is a plus. Proven ability to architect, design, and implement complex data solutions leveraging these services, with a track record of designing and optimizing ML & AI solutions for performance, resiliency, security, and cost-effectiveness.
• Experience with Generative AI and Machine Learning: Hands-on experience with large-scale ML projects and solutions utilizing machine learning techniques and Generative AI. Knowledge of model training, optimization (e.g., vector databases), and working with large datasets to derive insights and support business decisions.
• Strong Communication and Collaboration Skills: Ability to work closely with customers to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure successful implementation of analytics solutions. Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Industry Awareness: Deep understanding of industry trends and the ability to apply this knowledge to create innovative solutions that meet customer needs. Staying current with advancements in data analytics and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Understand customers’ data estate, business, and IT priorities to design Data & Analytics solutions that drive business value and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure solutions exhibit high performance, security, scalability, maintainability, reusability, and reliability upon deployment, providing feedback from customers and partners.
• Develop opportunities to drive customer success, help customers derive value from Microsoft investments, and identify resolutions to blockers by leveraging subject matter expertise. Deliver according to Microsoft best practices and using repeatable IP.
• Apply technical knowledge to architect and design solutions, create Data & Analytics roadmaps, drive POCs and MVPs, and ensure long-term viability of deployments, infusing key AI technologies where appropriate.
• Be the Voice of Customer, sharing insights and best practices, collaborating with Engineering to remove blockers and drive product improvements.
• Maintain technical skills, stay updated on market trends, collaborate with the AI technical community, and educate customers on Azure platform.
• Accelerate customer outcomes by sharing expertise, contributing to IP creation, obtaining relevant certifications, and reusing knowledge to benefit customers.
• Bring insights back to broader Microsoft account teams through sales and operational excellence.
