Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Location: Hamburg, Germany (Remote with monthly visits on-site)
Type: Contract
Duration: 9 -- 12 Months (Extension Possible)
Rate : 55 -- 70EUR/hour
About the role:
We are looking for a highly motivated engineer with an independent and reliable work style to support our applications used for New Product Introductions and Operations of for secure, high quality and cutting-edge products delivered to leading companies around the world. You will strengthen our Application Team to speed up the implementation of structural changes.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve monitoring, alerting, clean up and logging of application components
- Request and manage certificates
- Support Identity Access Management
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines incl. reporting / logging updates, debugging, automation, deployments
- Improve integration testing for applications
- Execute database setups and optimizations
- Drive Kubernetes, Docker and Open Shift related activities (migrations, signatures, documentation, ...)
- Work on security & compliance tasks like threat models, penetration and security header scans, SBOM
- Improve Infrastructure & Networking via API setup, VM decommissioning, firewalls, repository cleanup
- Help to implement AI to improve efficiency
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in Dev/Ops and Application Support
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts, ArgoCD, GitOps, Jenkins, VCS concepts
- Knowledge in TLS/SSL certificate management
- Experience in reading and writing of scripts e.g. shell scripting and SW deployment strategies.
- Familiarity with data base handling e.g. MS-SQL, MySQL, SQLite is an advantage
- Experience with collaborations tools like Confluence, Bitbucket, Jira and MS Office is important.
- Quality Mindset incl. quality methods and Security Awareness (information security, ...) is a plus.
- Good in analytical and teamwork abilities, proactive, problem solving, independent and reliable work style, curiosity to learn and adapt quickly.
