To lead this effort, Midea has created this new position for Product Manager in Cooking Appliances. This position is full-time and will share the responsibilities outlined below.
- Product Management and Planning: Assist PD in managing the entire lifecycle of European OBM products. Develop short-term and medium to long-term product line plans, output innovative concepts. Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure projects are executed according to plan, comprehensively advancing product development and market launch.
- Project Control and Implementation: Responsible for resource allocation, progress control, and risk management during project execution. Comprehensive control of project progress and continuous improvement of project process standards, promoting the launch of innovative products in the European region. Tracking the market performance of launched products and user feedback, continuously improving the product.
- Market and User Research: Responsible for market analysis and user research in Europe, analyzing the local market competition situation from multiple dimensions, leading the implementation of localized user insights and evaluation work ;
- Assisting the PD side in conducting new product evaluation, competitor analysis, and concept verification work. Empower BU, improving the internal collaboration level between BU and PD.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of project management / product management experience in the home appliance industry, with a preference for kitchen appliance categories. Has deep insights into user research, market, and product research
- Priority given to those with experience in key product planning and successful GTM implementation
- Bachelor\’s degree or above, with preference for those proficient in both German and English, and with English as a working language
- Proactive, goal oriented and self-driven
- Strong interpersonal, intercultural and communication skills
