Working Student Mechanical Engineering

We give industry workers a helping hand for tedious manual labour tasks and mitigate labour shortages with a versatile automation platform. Our automation solutions, driven by dexterous robotic hands and cutting edge AI trained on human observations, bring a new level of AI embodiment to the real world. As a Working Student in Mechanical Engineering you will drive development, prototyping and testing of complex, dexterous robotic hands and mechanisms. Requirements – Enrolled Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline – Hands-on experience in building physical prototypes and systems – Proficiency in 3D printing and CAD design – Good understanding of first principles thinking, design for manufacturing, FEM simulations, analytical calculations, etc. – Excellent academic track record – High motivation and problem-solving ability – Capable of both working independently and collaborating in a team – Fluent English or German speaker Nice to have – First experience from internships or research projects At mimic you will have the opportunity to shape a robotics & AI company from the ground up.
