Your Mission
We are looking for an all-round security expert specialized in public cloud infrastructure and software application design.
Your Daily Work
As part of your role you will be required to:
- Execute the security architecture design development for key projects through the application of architectural methods, standards and principles.
- Define security requirements for an application or specify optimum security design for major IT implementations.
- Consult with our clients on the cloud infrastructure and solution design security topics across the board.
- Define security solutions architectures, high-level designs, and impact assessments for initiatives and/or systems across the client.
- Take ownership of deliverables for Security Architecture and Security Risk Assessments and ensure that they are agreed and endorsed by all stakeholders.
- Support and manage security incident mitigation and resolution activities.
- Work with analysts in defining business requirements, and work with subject matter experts (such as infrastructure leads, cloud specialists, architects, operators, developers, and business experts) to develop high level designs, in line with the security architecture, patterns and practices.
- Manage vulnerabilities, conduct assessments of threat and risks, and operational security excellence.
- Maintain security documentation and document the impact of new systems on security posture.
Who you are
- Deep knowledge of information security risk management and cyber security technologies.
- Must have experience as a Cyber Security Architect working on application migration and development projects.
- Strong experience in implementing security architectures, tools and practices.
- Demonstrated knowledge of ISO27001, ISO31000, NIST cybersecurity framework, security architecture, secure SDLC, security tool engineering design, hardening of systems and application.
- IT skills, including knowledge of computer networks, protocols, operating systems, software, hardware and security, across enterprise networks and operational technology environments is desirable.
- Experience and expertise with Legacy and Cloud Infrastructure management operations and basic endpoint security principles.
- Experience in undertaking major security projects including the design and implementation of security technologies.
- CISA and/or CISSP a plus – CCSP as well.
- Experience with Service Organization Control (SOC) audits and assessing GDPR Security Rule controls a plus.
- An analytical mind with the ability to make sense of many Big Data inputs.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
