Based in Erdweg near Munich, Minebea AccessSolutions Deutschland GmbH acts as a competence center with global research and development responsibility in the area of access mechanisms. Our product portfolio includes electronic steering column locks, door handles and automatic power closure systems for different applications around the vehicle.
In our Test Engineering department, you will be responsible for the validation of tailgate actuators, electric door handles and electric tailgates. This activity can also be carried out as part of a student internship (voluntary or compulsory). Detailed scopes for internships can be discussed and defined by current tasks.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Carry out, evaluate and document functional tests of components such as DC motors and actuators for e.g. tailgate drives
- Carrying out, evaluating and documenting service life and environmental simulations
- Analysis of components and assemblies for e.g. wear/corrosion with the aid of optical analysis equipment
- Support in setting up and equipping test benches in the area of durability and environmental simulation
Required skills and experience:
- Enrolled in an engineering degree course, e.g. mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar
- Enthusiasm for mechatronics and measurement technology
- Independent, committed and self-reliant way of working
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Good knowledge of German and English
