About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented
Accountant to join our finance team.
This role is essential in supporting the accounting and financial operations of an international business.
The ideal candidate will have solid accounting experience, a structured working style, and the ability to collaborate closely with management and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with management to organize and support the accounting department.
- Assist with accounting and controlling activities.
- Support the preparation and execution of payment runs.
- Participate in account reconciliations and month-end closing activities.
- Serve as the point of contact for accounting and finance-related matters.
- Ensure accurate financial records and compliance with accounting standards.
- Support ongoing financial reporting and administrative accounting tasks.
Requirements
- Completed commercial apprenticeship, degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in accounting.
- Experience with payroll accounting is an advantage.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Familiarity with German accounting standards and business processes.
- Proficiency in common accounting procedures and financial documentation.
- Strong attention to detail with a reliable and conscientious approach.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a structured and accurate work style.
- High level of responsibility and commitment to quality.
