Datacenter Engineer Labor (f / m / d)

Location: Germany Borken (onsite)

What You’ll Do

• Take responsibility for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our lab-based data center

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot servers, routers, switches, and other critical infrastructure

• Execute structured cabling and physical hardware setup

• Deploy CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) and carry out functional tests

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure needs

• Ensure up-to-date and accurate documentation of systems and procedures

What You Bring

• Completed vocational training or a degree in a technical field (e.g., data center operations, HVAC, electrical engineering)

• Experience with PtP (Point-to-Point) and PON (Passive Optical Networks)

• Proficient in technical documentation and process tracking

• Familiarity with hardware/software from various vendors (e.g., Nokia, Cisco, Juniper, Dell, etc.)

• Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills

• Excellent communication skills and a proactive team mindset

• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
