We are currently looking for a dedicated and friendly full-time Python and Django developer to join our 20-member team in Cologne.
Who we are:
MIR MEDIA is an experienced digital agency, specialized in the design and development of CMS based websites in the cultural sector. We have created more than 100 websites with Django and are one of the top 10 digital agencies in Germany. We have an international team, flat hierarchies, short decision-making processes and a family-like environment in the centre of Cologne.
Your tasks:
- Creating and developing Django projects as a website or a web app
- Participating in the further development of existing web projects
- Raising the overall quality of our CMS
- Striving for high test coverage (unit & integration tests)
Your profile:
- Willingness to relocate to Cologne, Germany
- Several years of professional experience as a Django developer
- In-depth knowledge of Python, Django and the Django REST framework
- Experience with GitLab, GitLab CI/CD and Unit Testing
- Familiarity with Debian, NGINX, PostgreSQL, uWSGI, ideally also with Ansible
- Experience with RabbitMQ, Celery, Elasticsearch, Docker
- Team player with good communication skills
