Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Frankfurt am Main, with flexibility for partial work from home. The Bilingual Junior to Mid-Level (1-7 years) Corporate & Financial Communications consultant will support client mandates by drafting and refining press releases, investor communications, Q&A documents, and briefing materials in English and German. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring financial and corporate news flows, conducting research on companies and markets, and preparing analytical summaries for senior team members and clients. The role involves coordinating with clients during transactions and critical situations, helping to plan communication strategies, and supporting implementation across channels. The successful candidate will also assist with client meeting preparation, internal reporting, and quality control to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent messaging. The role will include international coordination across offices and clients.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial, market, and corporate information and translate it into clear communications.
- (Ideally) Foundational understanding of finance, capital markets, and corporate transactions (e.g., M&A, IPOs), or a strong interest in developing expertise in these areas.
- Excellent communication skills in English and German, both written and spoken, with the ability to tailor messages for diverse stakeholders.
- Rigorous client-centricity, with a focus on responsiveness, professionalism, and building constructive working relationships with clients.
- Ability to support training and knowledge-sharing activities, such as preparing internal briefings and contributing to best-practice materials.
- Relevant academic background in communications, finance, economics, business, political science, or a related field.
- Prior experience in corporate communications, financial PR, investment banking, consulting, investor relations, or similar environments is advantageous.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and resilience when working under time pressure and in sensitive situations.
- Proficiency with standard office, AI (e.g. Claude, Cowork etc.) and collaboration tools; familiarity with media monitoring and financial information platforms is beneficial.
