About the Role

Mitratech's Case Cloud is a Salesforce-native legal operations platform on the App Exchange.

This role is dedicated to building and shipping Agentforce agents and AI components for Case Cloud — packaged for commercial distribution through the Salesforce Agent Exchange.

You will work directly with product management to translate agent blueprints into production configurations, and with the development team to ensure every AI component meets App Exchange quality and security standards.

Agentforce reached general availability in late 2024.

We are not looking for years of tenure — we are looking for developers who adopted it early, have been building on it seriously, and think natively in agentic terms.

Strong Salesforce platform foundations (8+ years) are equally essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Agentforce Agent Development — Primary Focus
• Design and build Agentforce agents for Case

Cloud: topic definitions, agent instructions, custom actions, guardrails, and grounding configurations.

• Translate product management agent blueprints into functional Agentforce implementations; identify gaps and drive solutions.
• Develop custom actions backed by Apex, Flow, or external API integrations extending the Atlas Reasoning Engine for legal operations use cases.
• Implement RAG architectures using Salesforce Data Cloud to ground agents in Case Cloud matter data and legal knowledge bases.
• Author and optimize prompt templates in Prompt Builder; establish agent test suites in the Agentforce Testing Center.
• Evaluate each Salesforce seasonal release for Agentforce capabilities relevant to the Case Cloud roadmap.
• Agent Exchange Packaging
• Package agents, custom actions, and prompt templates for Agent Exchange distribution; ensure compliance with App Exchange security review requirements.
• Manage component versioning and release cadence in collaboration with product management.
• AI-Augmented Development
• Use frontier AI tools (Claude, Git Hub Copilot, or equivalent) daily — drafting agent instructions, stress-testing prompts, generating code and tests, and automating deployment via MCP server integrations.
• Apply responsible AI practices: hallucination mitigation, citation fidelity, PII handling, and user trust design.
• Salesforce Platform & Integration
• Develop Apex, LWC, and Flow components that serve as the technical substrate for Agentforce custom actions and Case Cloud features.
• Design integrations between Agentforce agents and third-party legal systems via REST/SOAP APIs and MCP server-based connectors.
• Implement Data Cloud data streams, DMOs, and calculated insights supporting agent grounding and retrieval.
• Collaboration & Mentorship
• Partner with product management to refine agent blueprints and bring forward-looking Agentforce recommendations into planning cycles.
• Serve as the team's Agentforce subject matter expert; mentor other developers on agent patterns and prompt engineering.
• Participate in Agile sprints; provide accurate estimates for agent development work.

Requirements

Experience & Skills

• 8+ years Salesforce platform development; App Exchange managed package experience required.
• Hands-on Agentforce experience — topics, actions, instructions, guardrails, Testing Center — required. Early adopter, beta, or significant post-GA builds all qualify.
• Experience with Salesforce Prompt Builder and Data Cloud (data streams, DMOs, calculated insights) strongly preferred.
• Fluent, practical use of AI development tools in daily workflow — demonstrated through work samples or interview discussion.
• Familiarity with MCP server architecture and AI agent-to-system integration patterns is a differentiator.
• Deep expertise in Apex, LWC, Flow, SOQL, Salesforce CLI, scratch orgs, and managed package development.

Certifications

• Platform Developer I & II — Required.
• AI Associate — Required. AI Specialist — Strongly preferred.
• Agentforce Specialist superbadge — Preferred.
• Application Architect or System Architect — Preferred.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
