Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Senior Quality Engineer (f/m/d) to join our team at our Berlin plant. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for upholding and enhancing our product quality standards while cultivating a sustainable quality management environment. Leveraging a Continuous Improvement Process approach, you will drive initiatives that ensure the reliability of our product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Support manufacturing teams in resolving quality issues, both from suppliers and internally.
- Collaborate with suppliers, the Supply Chain, and stakeholders to address key quality challenges.
- Support the service department in monitoring field claims and resolving critical field issues.
- Use reporting systems to identify major problems through a Pareto approach.
- Conduct root cause analyses and recommend continuous improvements using Problem Solving (PS) tools such as 8D, Ishikawa, and 5 Whys.
- Perform internal quality audits as well as supplier audits with timely follow‑up on results.
- Support Quality Management System (QMS), Q‑documentation, Q‑reports, and quality records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electronics, physics, or an engineering discipline.
- Several years of relevant experience in a quality‑focused role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- A strong commitment to quality combined with exceptional stakeholder management skills.
- A structured, solution‑oriented mindset with a willingness to work internationally (occasional travel required).
- The ability to thrive in cross‑functional teams, fostering team spirit and guiding collaborative efforts toward identifying improvement steps.
- Fluency in German and English is essential for this role.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
This is an on‑site position with occasional home office. The role requires sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods, good manual dexterity and coordination at various heights, and operating in a professional office, laboratory, and manufacturing environment. Commitment to safety when handling mechanical and electrical hardware, including high voltage and heat, is required. Typical noise level in the work environment is moderate.
