Overview
In this Financial Analyst role, you will lead FP&A activities for the Lasers business unit to support strategic decisions and operational performance. You will work with senior leaders and cross-functional teams across global sites to deliver actionable insights. You will influence budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to drive business outcomes in a fast-paced environment. This position offers exposure to international finance processes and a direct impact on how the Lasers unit grows and performs. You will collaborate closely with global colleagues and report to the Europe Lasers Controller, with English fluency essential.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Support month-end and quarter-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Explain variances between actuals, budget, and forecast with clear insights
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc financial analyses and reports for decision-making
- Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting and maintain financial models
- Monitor KPIs and provide timely management reporting
- Collaborate with Cost Accounting and cross-functional teams (Sales & Marketing, Operations, R&D, HR) to ensure accurate data and consistent assumptions
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years in controlling, financial analysis, FP&A, or related area in an international environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to derive insights
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with financial modeling; Power BI a plus
- ERP/financial systems experience (e.g., SAP, Oracle) a plus
- Good business acumen, communication, and cross-functional collaboration
