A day in the life at Atotech Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG
To support our team, we are looking for a committed working student (m/f/d) for an initial period of 12 months, who will play an active role in an exciting development project in the field of printed circuit board metallization. In this role, you will gain valuable insights into research and development processes and take on tasks independently in a laboratory and project environment.
Your responsibilities
- Assisting with routine tasks in process development, particularly in the field of printed circuit board metallization
- Helping to plan and prepare test series
- Assisting with chemical preparations, analysis of process baths and experiments
- Evaluating test results, e.g. through section preparation and microscopy
- Managing chemical inventory, including stock monitoring and reordering
- Assisting with equipment management (maintenance, calibration, service coordination)
- Ensuring compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) guidelines, as well as maintaining order and cleanliness in the laboratory
Your skills and competencies
- Currently studying chemistry, chemical engineering, process engineering or a comparable subject
- Good technical and chemical understanding, as well as an interest in operational and digital processes
- High level of attention to detail, reliability and a sense of responsibility
- Willingness to familiarize yourself with complex subject areas
- Excellent written and spoken English
- An analytical mindset, a structured approach to work, and the ability to simplify complex issues
- We pay 16.64 EUR per hour for your work
