To strengthen our team at our Dornbusch location, we are looking for a motivated Design Engineer (m/f/d).
Your Responsibilities
- Design and develop marine rudders, rudder systems and related components
- Create 3D models, technical drawings and manufacturing documentation
- Perform technical design and further development of existing products
- Coordinate with production, project management, suppliers and customers
- Support technical projects from initial enquiry through to completion
- Review and optimise designs with regard to functionality, manufacturability and cost efficiency
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and design records
Your Profile
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Design Engineering or a comparable technical qualification
- Experience in mechanical engineering, marine engineering or shipbuilding is an advantage
- Confident user of CAD software and experienced in producing technical drawings
- Strong technical understanding and a structured, independent way of working
- Good command of German and English
- Team-oriented, responsible and solution-driven
