Lead people and build strong teams

• Lead, coach and mentor Engineering Managers, Principal Engineers and other technology leaders.
• Coordinate distributed, international and multicultural technology teams, including teams working with external partners.
• Build resilient, inclusive and high-performing teams by fostering trust, psychological safety, collaboration and shared ownership.
• Provide a clear vision and direction through authentic leadership, inspire commitment beyond formal reporting lines and enable teams to deliver meaningful business impact reliably, especially in times of change and uncertainty.

Shape strategy and lead transformation

• Shape the technology strategy for your area and translate company priorities into clear objectives, roadmaps and execution plans.
• Support the technology transition and post-closing integration of one or more digital automotive business areas, including Leasing and/or C2B.
• Establish a clear target operating model, identify dependencies and risks, and coordinate technology workstreams across Product, Technology and business functions.
• Support TSA exit planning and ensure that systems, teams, processes and ownership are prepared for a sustainable long-term setup.
• Enable effective collaboration with external partners and internal teams to deliver transition and integration goals.

Partner with the business and ensure reliable delivery

• Act as a trusted technology partner and sparring partner for Product Owners, Business Owners, and other members of the Product & Tech Leadership Team.
• Ensure clear accountability for technology products, platforms and services, including appropriate attention to architecture, operations, security, privacy and compliance.
• Matrix-manage multidisciplinary teams, remove blockers and provide effective support in critical situations.
• Support prioritisation and capacity planning, balancing integration needs, strategic initiatives and business-as-usual delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement in agile development, product discovery, engineering practices and continuous delivery.
• Foster a culture of learning, knowledge sharing, inclusion, psychological safety and data-driven continuous improvement.
