We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead to support the transformation of a live, customer-facing marketplace platform. You will lead architecture and delivery across cloud migration, application separation and operational transition, working with mobile.de teams, distributed engineers and external partners.
Before completion of the relevant transaction and regulatory conditions, work will be limited to approved planning, technical preparation and due diligence. Implementation, system activation and operational transition will begin only once those conditions are met.
- Own the technical roadmap, target architecture, dependencies, risks and readiness criteria for a complex platform transformation.
- Co-Lead post-completion migration of applications, databases, object storage and platform services into a mobile.de-owned cloud environment together with a Lead Site Reliability Engineer.
- Coordinate codebase separation, dependency management, release sequencing and migration of event-driven services and messaging flows.
- Define cutover, rollback, testing, security and operational-readiness plans for live customer-facing systems.
- Establish effective ways of working across engineering, product, operations, security and external delivery teams.
- Ensure monitoring, alerting, incident response, runbooks and ownership are in place before services move into the target operating model.
- Make pragmatic architecture decisions and communicate trade-offs clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
