ISR Group leads the Autonomous Vehicle Experiments and Vehicle Technology Integration at Mobileye. The team is responsible for bringing up hardware and software systems for autonomous vehicle fleets, designing mechanical and systems components, retrofitting vehicles with integrated AV systems, managing autonomous experiments for internal and customer projects, and developing tools and data pipelines for validation and algorithm improvements.
This position requires working On-Site.
Responsibilities include:
- Configuring and testing Mobileye\’s and vehicle MCU systems.
- Installing Mobileye’s computerized systems in autonomous vehicle fleets.
- Mechanical installation of peripheral infrastructure on vehicles, including cables, crimping, soldering, wiring, drilling, screwing, and sawing.
- Disassembling and reassembling vehicle components such as fenders, bumpers, wheels, seats, dashboard panels, and mirrors.
- Using workshop power tools like drills, grinders, and saws.
- Configuring and debugging computers, networks, and various components.
- Troubleshooting issues across software, hardware, mechanical assembly, networking, operating systems, and power systems.
Requirements:
- Mechatronics or Practical Technician background.
- Hands-on experience with assembling, wiring, soldering, configuring, and installing complex systems.
- Experience with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computer devices.
- Practical knowledge of AC/DC power systems and debugging.
- Understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, CAN, and FlexRay.
- Experience with testing tools like OBD2, multimeters (e.g., Fluke), oscilloscopes, battery analyzers, and sniffers.
- Strong technical experience in vehicle installation and troubleshooting.
