To further strengthen our position among the leading companies in the automotive industry, MOBIS Parts Europe N.V. is expanding its R&D Center at its European headquarter in Frankfurt in order to meet local customer requirements even better. Your profile

  • University degree in electrical, mechanical engineering or mathematics/physics.
  • Decent background in automotive controls engineering.
  • Understanding of vehicle dynamics, powertrain, braking systems and Electronic Park Brakes.
  • Proficient in model based design and C-code development for embedded controllers.
  • In-vehicle testing and/or simulation experience.
  • Experience in system modelling and control software development appreciated.
  • Training and knowledge on Automotive-SPICE and Functional Safety appreciated (ISO/IEC15504 and IEC61508 / ISO26262).
  • Willingness to travel to test tracks, headquarters and customers.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Passenger car driving license (B), trailer license appreciated (BE) and fluent in English.

Your tasks

  • Coordinate activities for mass production as well as advanced projects in Chassis Controls Group.
  • Design and analyse modifications for PBC and EPB related softwares.
  • Design, analyse and improve temperature models for rear disc/drums.
  • Execute plan and perform travel to test tracks (cold climate and special test areas), headquarters (HQ) and customers.
  • Execute plan and perform validation on HiL and SiL environment.
  • Implement PBC software and its interfaces to guarantee full EPB functionality.
  • Ensure the EPB is working safely and fulfilling all expected functions.
  • Report documentation of the development products.
  • Review and report result of RFQ material for software related content including failsafe.
  • Ensure a reliable relation with HQ design teams and customers.
