Mockberg is a Swedish jewellery and accessories brand defined by a clean Scandinavian aesthetic. With

our first stand-alone store and our first store outside Sweden - we are creating an important new

touchpoint for our customers across the DACH region.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial retail leader who will run the store like their own business: close

to the team and our customers, confident with numbers and processes, and closely connected to the

Managing Director DACH and our HQ teams in Sweden. You will report directly to the Managing Director

DACH. This position deliberately goes beyond traditional store management, combining retail

leadership, operations, CRM, wholesale training and e-commerce fulfilment.

Your Role

You will lead the successful launch and day-to-day operation of our new store. Working closely with the

Managing Director DACH and the HQ team, you will bring the brand to life locally, actively develop the

business and establish structures that can scale with Mockberg across the DACH region.

Your Responsibilities

Store Performance

Sales Ownership: You own sales, profitability and the store’s key KPIs, translate performance insights

into clear actions and report results directly to management.

Reporting & Finance: You prepare regular sales, cost and performance reports, compile store-level

financial and balance-sheet-related documentation for management and accounting and closely

monitor budgets and variances.

Store Operations : You oversee day-to-day operations, staff scheduling, cash-management processes,

credit notes, complaints, store standards, visual merchandising and the continuous improvement of

workflows.

Brand Experience: You bring Mockberg to life in store and ensure a personal, premium and consistent

CRM & Clienteling: You act as a central point of contact for our German-speaking store customers,

proactively nurture customer relationships and work closely with our Customer Service team.

Inventory & Logistics

Inventory Management: You maintain accurate and reliable stock levels, analyze sell-through and stock

movements, and conduct regular stock checks and inventories.

Replenishment : You forecast product requirements and coordinate new orders and replenishment

closely with our logistics team.

E-Commerce Fulfilment: You organize and oversee online orders fulfilled from the store across the

DACH region; from picking and packing to shipping, carrier handover, accurate documentation and

Leadership: You build and lead a high-performing, welcoming store team and foster a culture of

ownership, collaboration and outstanding service.

People Development: You manage onboarding, goal setting, feedback conversations, coaching and

Collaboration & Business Development

Direct Reporting Line: You report directly to the Managing Director DACH.

Retail Voice DACH: You translate insights about customers, assortment, competitors and local market

opportunities into the continued development of our retail and DACH strategy, maintaining a regular

exchange with our Retail & Customer Operations Manager and Team Leads.

Store Events & Activations: You support store events, launches and local brand activations in close

collaboration with the Managing Director DACH and the PR & Marketing team.

What You Bring

  • Several years of experience in a retail leadership position, ideally as a Store Manager within premium, jewelry, fashion or lifestyle retail.
  • Proven experience in team leadership, coaching and operational workforce planning.
  • Strong commercial acumen and confidence working with KPIs, budgets, inventory data and financial performance reports.
  • Strong knowledge of merchandise management, inventories, replenishment, cash management and store operations.
  • Experience with CRM, clienteling or customer service and a natural omnichannel mindset.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a hands-on mentality: you prioritize clearly, make pragmatic decisions and actively support the day-to-day business.
  • A confident presence and enthusiasm for training teams and external partners, bringing both the brand and its products to life.
  • Fluent German and English for daily customer interactions and collaboration with our international team is required.
  • Flexibility to work retail hours and travel occasionally within DACH and to Sweden.
