Do you have a passion for improving wound care for patients with in-depth commercial understanding, strategy, and the ability to bring together clinical experts to contribute towards key business objectives?
At Mölnlycke we are looking for a Medical Affairs Director to lead our post-acute/chronic wound portfolio and deliver on strategic evidence initiatives for the wound care business.
What you’ll do:
- Drive the internal medical affairs strategy in the post-acute/chronic wound space for Mölnlycke’s products
- Build an understanding of bringing new products to market including any regulatory gaps and strategy development requirements
- Ensure all activities and clinical studies are grounded in clinical practice or literature
- Be a champion of medical and clinical insights back to the business
- Ensure cross-functional collaboration within the Mölnlycke’s chronic wound patient journey area to achieve commercial objectives
- Further the mission to maximise patient outcomes by setting and continuously advancing the evidence and value-based standard of care
- Act as a bridge between healthcare practitioners and Mölnlycke’s commercial teams
- Act as a patient and clinician advocate when working on key strategic and commercial projects
- Represent Mölnlycke on a global stage through participation in consensus panels, conference session moderation, and delivery of educational activities
What you’ll need:
- Advanced University Degree in Medicine, Nursing or Life Sciences
- Significant experience with chronic wound care products and treatment plans
- Demonstrable experience working in a similar medical affairs role
- Existing network of clinical professionals across a diverse range of specialisms
- Deep understanding of analysing scientific data and publications
- Excellent communication, content creation and presentation skills
- Strong commercial mindset to link the clinical and business strategic aspirations
- Proficient written and spoken English language
