Join us as a Product Owner (m / f / d) in our Cabin Safety Team on a shared journey that matters!
To make the vision of an autonomously driving mobility service a reality, we are expanding in the Vehicle Integration domain with product development teams. These agile teams develop applications and tools needed to enable autonomous passenger management within MOIA vehicles: How do passengers authenticate themselves without a driver? How to ensure cabin safety during boarding and ride? What content should be displayed on vehicle screens for a safe and informative user experience?
The Cabin Safety team is one of four teams in the Vehicle Integration domain, building a platform for automated cabin surveillance and safety checks, previously performed by drivers. The team owns features distributed over embedded and backend software, considering functional safety requirements.
What you will do
- Understand the overall product, derive vision and direction for the cabin safety team
- Define & prioritize the product roadmap with the team
- Break down the roadmap into backlog items collaboratively
- Enable and inspire the team to understand customer and user problems and create innovative solutions
- Understand fleet operator needs during autonomous rides and translate them into technical solutions within the vehicle integration platform
- Align user journey and interactions with team features
- Address legal, quality, safety requirements with OEM partners
- Collaborate with internal and external teams and represent the team in integration activities
- Manage stakeholders with OEMs and partners
- Work closely with suppliers and partners during product development
- Follow up on features during vehicle campaigns and demonstrations
What will help you to fulfill your role
- Comfortable in a dynamic environment, solving complex problems, managing diverse stakeholders, thriving in high-performance and startup cultures
- Customer and passenger empathy, understanding legal perspectives, translating needs into user stories aligned with business goals
- Experience with agile principles, applying them in complex environments with industry partners
- Automotive industry experience, familiarity with standards like ISO 26262 or ASPICE (plus)
- Excellent communication skills across diverse personalities and backgrounds
- Visionary with the ability to craft compelling visions and assess product viability
- Pragmatic, effective at prioritization and problem-solving
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
