Senior Compliance Tooling Expert (all genders) – Autonomous Vehicles

Overview
You will define how software tools enable and support compliance governance across the entire product lifecycle, working at the intersection of regulatory affairs, engineering, IT, and quality to ensure product conformity as part of our product compliance management system (PCMS) and audit readiness in all deployment markets.
Responsibilities
- Establish and continuously improve the end‑to‑end compliance tooling landscape supporting global vehicle compliance and PCMS.
- Define and maintain a compliance strategy aligned with the product lifecycle, and provide operational support and guidance to compliance tool users.
- Evaluate, select, and continuously improve tools to enable fast and reliable extraction of compliance information for:
- Evidence and documentation management
- Compliance tracking
- Legal requests
- External and internal audits
- Support multi‑market deployments, including country‑specific approvals, deadlines, and applicability logic while ensuring compliant storage, traceability, and retention of regulatory evidence
- Define and maintain interfaces between compliance tools and engineering, quality, and IT systems
- Anticipate future compliance and regulatory needs and translate them into scalable tooling solutions
Qualifications
- Several years of experience in automotive regulatory compliance or product compliance in a highly regulated industry, ideally in the autonomous vehicle industry.
- Strong expertise in compliance or regulatory tooling, e. g., Vanta, in a complex, multi‑market environment.
- Experience with vehicle type approval, autonomous driving, or software‑defined vehicles.
- Familiarity with audits and authority interactions.
- Solid understanding of data and evidence management in regulated industries.
- Ability to translate regulatory and governance requirements into practical, scalable tooling solutions.
- Business fluent German and English skills.
