We are currently seeking an
Instrument Technician
(m/w/d)
who will be responsible for assembling, commissioning and testing instruments according to the production schedule in an efficient timely manner, sharing knowledge and work with others in your team in order to reduce the production lead-time.

What We\’ll Get You Doing

• Ensuring instruments are built to the highest quality and latest standards of engineering drawings, assembly documentation and software release revisions
• Ensure instruments are in a suitable state to the pre-shipment QC check
• Advise appropriately as to stock control/requirements
• Log all faults for future tracking and recommend changes to ease assembly or enhance design
• Focus on issues that affect you and deal with them in a constructive manner and when falling below expectations bring them to the attention of your line manager
• Maintain highest levels of housekeeping within your working area
• All other responsibilities and/or other related duties as assigned

The Essential Requirements Of The Role Include

• Basic level of education in electrical/electronics/mechatronics/optics (HTL, apprenticeship, vocational training)
• First experience of assembly and/or testing of related products (e.g. medical devices)
• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 10kg
• Good knowledge of German and English

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Troubleshooting of related products (e.g. medical devices)
• Experience of working in an international environment (Europe and US)
• Good working knowledge of General administration tools (i.e. MS Office)

To comply with legal requirements, we refer to the minimum salary as stipulated in the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry, which is € 3,484.62 gross per month. A willingness to pay above this amount exists, depending on qualifications and experience.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
