We are currently seeking a (Junior) Account Manager (m/f/d) in North/East Germany for our Bioresearch product portfolio with focus on finding and attracting new accounts. The Account Manager will work remote and cover the region from the Baltic Sea to the border of Bavaria. What we’ll get you doing: * Direct Territory Deliverables, Achieve monthly and annual Quota in designated territory, to identify, qualify, develop, support and close sales of the Molecular Devices system portfolio * Develop and maintain accurate Territory & Account Plans while working with a high level of independency * Develop, update, expand and maintain to a high degree of accuracy and integrity, the prospect database (SalesForce.com) and existing customer list and monitor sales growth. * Monitor competitor’s activities, products, and potential new or improved applications or product extensions and the market evolution. The essential requirements of the role include: * Educational background in Life Sciences as Bachelor or higher * First sales experience in instrument and software sales could be an advantage as well as experience in managing customers in Salesforce.com. Beginners would receive fundamental and profound training to be successful and influential * Highly motivated, dedicated and willing to learn * Excellent communication skills in German and good English Travel, Motor Vehicle Record: * Ability to travel up to 70% is desired, occationally with overnight within territory * Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record At Molecular Devices we believe in designing a better, more sustainable workforce.
