Your opportunity:

As our new E-Commerce Account Executive you will be part of Mollie’s Sales team in DACH. We are looking to add skilled sales professionals who have an entrepreneurial mindset, are eager to make a difference, and have a data-driven approach. You will focus on medium and large web shops with complex needs, requiring C-level and in-depth sales conversations.

You will have full ownership of the sales cycle, from prospecting and engaging leads to understanding their pain points and creating compelling commercial proposals that fit their business needs. Your ultimate objective is to expand our customer base into the medium and large size segments and turn newly signed customers into strong Mollie ambassadors.

What you\’ll be doing:

  1. Outbound Superstar: Leverage the extensive sales tools at Mollie to unlock new opportunities and verticals.
  2. Own the Pipeline: Manage a deal pipeline of large new customers with revenue <1M per month, taking full responsibility from first contact to becoming a live customer.
  3. Complex Sales Management: Handle complex sales cycles, including extensive negotiations with senior stakeholders and intricate decision-making processes.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the onboarding and risk teams early in the sales process to expedite conversion while managing risk for Mollie.
  5. Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with partners and various stakeholders, including client-side, internal, and third parties, to accelerate integration and get customers live.
  6. Performance Reporting: Utilize available dashboards and funnel management tools to report and discuss performance, applying your analytical skills to understand the market and devise an adapted strategy.

What you\’ll bring:

  1. Strong relationship-building skills, transparency, honesty, and a consultative sales approach.
  2. Confidence in discussing technical solutions with potential clients.
  3. Demonstrated ability to hit and exceed commercial targets.
  4. A strategic, process-driven approach to selling.
  5. Experience in outbound sales.
  6. 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the Fintech, Payments, or SaaS solutions industry.
  7. Fluent in German with excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable interacting in English (required). Please do not apply if you are not fluent in German.
