Engineering Manager Lead Software Engineer Shopify (mfd)

Your Mission Lead and develop a group of up to 10 software engineers both professionally and disciplinarily Lead the replatforming of our medimops webshop to Shopify ensuring maintainability and extendability of all customizations Contribute hands‑on to the design and implementation of the new platform with focus on performance resilience and great user experience Lead towards a new era of our medimops shop in close collaboration with product teams tech leads and POs ensuring alignment across cross‑functional teams Drive the technical vision and strategy together with other tech leads Foster a culture of ownership collaboration and self‑organization within and across teams Continuously improve our CI / CD pipelines and development processes Your Profile Hands‑on experience with the Shopify Plus ecosystem including liquid templating and Remix app development Building and integrating custom Shopify apps and webhooks Resilient consumption error handling and monitoring of external integrations Solid knowledge of frontend technologies like React, Remix and Typescript Proven leadership experience with engineering teams in agile environments including disciplinary responsibility Experience in building and maintaining large‑scale high‑traffic platforms with strong uptime requirements Enthusiasm for building reliable scalable systems that combine strong engineering with great user experience Strong communication and business fluent English language skills (German is a plus) Nice to have Familiarity with end‑to‑end testing using frameworks like Playwright Understanding of modern frontend performance observability and monitoring best practices Experience with Typescript, Python and MySQL or PostgreSQL Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Experience applying Domain‑Driven Design (DDD) and Clean Architecture principles to keep complex systems maintainable You can look forward to Flexible working hours: We work according to a hybrid model that offers you maximum flexibility while also fostering important personal connections.
