This director level role globally leads the delivery of high value IT application management and support (AMS) and Development, Security and Operations (Dev Sec Ops) practices across the company in an integrated fashion. The incumbent is responsible to develop roadmaps with Business Units and to plan agreed outcomes to deliver high value IT applications and products across the company.
This position is the lead contact for the defined processes driving internal and external continuous improvement initiatives to introduce external insights and best practice experiences. This function covers tactics and strategy capabilities to the business, can influence adoption across the organization and partners, is results oriented, and has a strong client service orientation.
The role reports to the head of the Office of CIDO.
How you will contribute
- Partners with the Head of the CIDO and the CTO for providing strategic Dev SecOps capabilities and direction for the enterprise.
- Sets the objectives and KPI framework for the AMS / Dev Sec Ops function overall.
- Is responsible for planning, evolving and developing Dev Ops and Lean operations and governance processes.
- Stays current with current and planned performance and alignment with business strategy.
- Is responsible for driving focus and prioritization within the AMS/ Dev Sec Ops organization and partners.
- Develops capabilities shared within the enterprise (i.e. enterprise architecture, business partnering, planning and integration, AMS/ Dev Sec Ops continuous improvement, change management, Service strategy, supplier delivery management, Dev Sec Ops coverage of portfolio of programs, projects, product and platform, AMS/ Dev Sec Ops operating model).
- Monitors and steers the day-to-day operations and performance of the AMS/ Dev Sec Ops organization, practices and capabilities to ensure that processes and organization workflows are efficient and effective.
- Controls costs by ensuring transparency of costs and total costs of ownership as new projects are implemented, looking for apportionment of costs and consumption into the Product Verticals, and defining the role for each external partner in the landscape of AMS and DevSecOps.
- Develops people within scope according to our talent strategy and ensures that the various people within the scope act and engage according to culture attributes and job descriptions.
- Advocates AMS/ Dev Sec Ops Lean Strategy and transformation.
- Ultimately oversees and operates the application landscape and activity system of the Digital Services function, captured in the CIDO dashboard and cascaded to operating teams in strong alignment with the product management best practices.
What you will bring

- 15+ years in MDS and business/industry in supporting large, global SAP application footprint including managing global and diverse ERP teams and outsourced services.
- Strong track record with the implementation and support of AMS/ Dev Sec Ops including agile methods and teams.
- Experience with CoE leadership and promotion of enterprise changes, new methods and tools.
- Solid experience with RFP processes, contracts, and vendor management.
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders.
- Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of applications and automation technology and organizational change management.
- Familiar operating in large and complex multi-national organizations to create alignment for strategic priorities across a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
