Your impact – why this role matters At Mondi, Group Finance plays a central role in ensuring financial integrity, transparency, and informed decision‑making at the highest level of the organisation. You will:
Manage financial compliance and deliver data for regulatory requirements
Support decision making for Group Management
Challenge as a key sparring partner for Business Units and other Group functions
Your mission In this role, you will take ownership of the preparation of IFRS figures and the consolidation process, ensuring high‑quality, accurate and reliable financial information, including:
Preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS for internal and external reporting purposes
Active involvement in the Group consolidation process, including supporting the optimisation of systems and processes to ensure accurate, consistent and reliable data
Provision of IFRS guidance to domestic and international subsidiaries in line with Group policies, including preparing and documenting technical accounting assessments
Further development of Group accounting guidelines and reporting frameworks
Acting as a key contact for external auditors, ensuring clear and well‑documented deliverables
Contributing to ad‑hoc projects and strategic finance and accounting initiatives at Group level
Your profile To succeed in this role, you bring the following:
A strong sense of ownership and accountability – you take full responsibility for your topics and ensure timely, reliable delivery with a high level of accuracy
A high level of motivation and engagement – you take initiative, move topics forward and focus on practical solutions
Strong IFRS knowledge and a genuine interest in accounting topics and consolidation processes
The ability to challenge and communicate effectively with different stakeholders
A collaborative mindset and strong team spirit
In addition, you have:
3–5 years of relevant professional experience (e.g. in audit or in the preparation of IFRS financial statements)
A university degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
Advanced MS Excel skills; experience with the HFM consolidation system is an advantage
Fluent English (German is a plus, but not required)

Working hours: full‑time, 38 hours/week (all‑in contract)
Minimum compensation package: starting at €50,000 gross/year, with willingness to overpay depending on experience and qualifications
