The IT/OT System Engineer at a paper bag manufacturing organization ensures seamless integration and secure operation of both corporate IT systems and industrial production technologies. This role is critical for maintaining high availability of production lines, from converting and printing machines to cutting and packaging equipment, while supporting enterprise IT requirements. The engineer acts as a bridge between production operations and IT, aligning industrial automation systems with company-wide digital strategies, cybersecurity standards, and data-driven optimization initiatives. Your Mission:
Maintain and optimize OT systemsin paper bag production plants, including SCADA, PLCs, HMIs, and industrial PCs Ensure network reliability and segmentationbetween IT and OT environments Implement and monitor cybersecurity measuresfor production systems Support integration of production datainto enterprise IT systems for analytics and reporting Collaborate with production, engineering, and IT teams to minimize downtime and optimize processes Participate in change management, system upgrades, and compliance audits Troubleshoot complex
