As a Pre-Sales Solution Architect at MongoDB, you guide customers in designing scalable, reliable data-driven solutions using our platform. You will work with sales and cross-functional teams to drive deal momentum and ensure technical alignment from startups to enterprises. You’ll translate complex tech concepts into business value, shaping architectures and demonstrations to win opportunities. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Design scalable architectures and reference patterns leveraging MongoDB for large projects
- Advise customers on architecture optimization and technology-driven value
- Collaborate with sales to prioritize opportunities and own technical discovery, demos, and sizing
- Generate demand and participate in events and ABM activities within the sales territory
- Foster customer relationships, build champions, and support customer success
- Mentor and share knowledge with the Solutions Consulting team
- Engage in ongoing product and industry training to stay current
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 5 to 8 years of related industry experience
- 2+ years in a customer-facing role
- 2+ years with modern scripting languages (Python, Node.js, SQL) or programming languages (C/C++, Java, C#)
- Experience implementing scalable, highly available distributed systems in cloud and on-prem
- Ability to review complex architectures with customers and provide guidance
- Excellent presentation and communication skills for tech and business audiences
- Ability to work with a cross-functional sales team across the deal cycle
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
