The team partners closely with stakeholders across Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Finance, Deal Desk, and Engineering to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable Quote-to-Cash solutions.

Role Overview

We are looking for an Engineer 3 to design, build, and support scalable Salesforce CPQ and Quote-to-Cash solutions that power MongoDB’s sales processes. This role combines strong hands-on development, CPQ configuration expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and a practical engineering mindset to deliver reliable, maintainable, and scalable business systems. We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Gurugram for our hybrid working model.

What you’ll do

  • Design, build, and support Salesforce CPQ solutions across product modeling, pricing, quoting, approvals, amendments, and renewals.
  • Configure and enhance CPQ capabilities including product rules, price rules, bundles, product options, quote templates, discounting, and approval workflows.
  • Partner with Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Finance, and Deal Desk to understand requirements, identify process gaps, and deliver scalable business solutions.
  • Develop and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, SOQL, and platform APIs to support CPQ and related processes.
  • Build and support integrations between Salesforce CPQ and external systems such as ERP, billing, payment, contract, and other enterprise platforms.
  • Participate in technical design, story grooming, sprint planning, testing, code reviews, release management, and production deployments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across CPQ configuration, pricing logic, automation, integrations, and system performance.
  • Support documentation, UAT, regression testing, and user enablement to improve adoption and platform reliability.
  • Ensure solutions align with security, data governance, and Salesforce platform best practices.
  • Leverage AI-powered engineering tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Agentforce, GitHub Copilot, and similar capabilities to improve productivity, analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation, while using sound judgment around security, accuracy, and responsible AI usage.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality technical solutions on the Salesforce and CPQ platform aligned with business requirements and engineering standards.
  • Support enhancements, break/fix issues, and ongoing maintenance across Quote-to-Cash workflows and related integrations.
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams to communicate delivery status, technical issues, and solution options clearly and effectively.
  • Contribute to strong engineering practices across code quality, documentation, testing, and release readiness.
  • Identify opportunities to improve system performance, simplify processes, reduce technical debt, and strengthen overall platform reliability.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and delivering with quality and accountability.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6+ years of Salesforce development experience, including strong hands-on expertise in Salesforce CPQ.
  • Strong understanding of Quote-to-Cash processes, sales workflows, and Salesforce CPQ best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, SOQL, and REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Experience with product modeling, pricing rules, quoting workflows, approvals, amendments, and renewals.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems such as ERP, billing, payment, or other enterprise platforms.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, version control, and Salesforce release practices.
