The ideal candidate is eager to learn, rethink the current state-of-the-art and push the technology envelope forward within the sensor product design phase. His responsibilities range from specifying design targets, through block partitioning, transistor level design and layout supervision to the validation and debugging of the fabricated silicon. /p h3Essential Functions /h3 ul liCircuit design of mixed-signal building blocks, including analog design of key blocks /li liAnalysis and optimization of performance /li liDesign verification /li liIC layout follow up /li liDesign for test, yield, reliability /li liSpecify and implement functional safety features /li liCooperate with the digital team to define system architecture /li liCooperate with team overseas to develop a test flow for production /li liWrite documentation for design and architectures /li liParticipate in the evaluation of silicon in the lab /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul li10+ years of experience in analog/mixed‑signal circuit design, IC development /li liPrevious experience in signal processing and sensors strongly desired /li liA good understanding of high-speed layout considerations (e.g. parasitic, crosstalk, supply and bias distribution) /li liSolid analytical thinking /li liProficient with CAD tool environment and mixed‑signal simulation /li liFluent communication in English /li liGood communication skills, contribute as a team player in development and design of sensor products /li liAbility to work independently while coordinating with analog, digital, layout and test engineers /li liProject Management experience /li liWilling to travel occasionally /li liSelf‑motivated /li /ul h3Education /h3 ul liMSEE or higher /li /ul h3Location /h3 pSwitzerland (Schaffhausen) /p pMonolithic Power Systems, Inc.
