Responsibilities focus on developing and implementing designs for our sensor IC products. This covers the complete range from an architectural concept all the way to the HDL implementation and integration in products. /ph3Essential Functions /h3ulliWork with marketing and field application teams to define magnetic sensors for current measurement or position sensing systems. /liliDevelop (digital) architectures for signal treatment, interfaces and system safety. /liliImplement them on RTL level (Verilog). /liliCooperate with analog, digital, mixed-signal and back-end teams, which are partially overseas. /liliParticipate in integration of designs into IC products. /liliParticipate in the design, verification and measurement of ICs. /liliWrite documentation on design and architectures. /liliGenerate simulation models for the application engineering team. /liliProvide training for application engineering team on new products and features. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulli5+ years of hands-on experience in developing electronic systems, in particular digital circuit designs using Verilog (or VHDL) /liliPrevious experience in signal processing and sensors strongly desired /liliUnderstanding safety requirements for automotive applications beneficial /liliExposure to digital back-end design techniques a plus (synthesis, clocking, test insertion) /liliExposure to digital verification techniques a plus (System Verilog, UVM, FPGA) /liliFluent communication in English /liliSolid writing skills /liliWilling to travel occasionally /liliSelf-motivated /li /ulh3Education /h3pMSEE or higher /ph3Location /h3pMPS Switzerland, Schaffhausen /ppMonolithic Power Systems, Inc.
