TLNT1_CH Your tasks Prepare and produce the daily desserts for the restaurant, terrace, Le Cervin , and Room Service.

Complete mise en place for the breakfast service.

Prepare mise en place for the à la carte menus in Le Cervin and the main restaurant.

Prepare and set up the kitchen buffet for the bar and lobby.

Assist with the planning and development of à la carte dessert menus.

Prepare all doughs required for the kitchen.

Produce a wide variety of desserts, pastries, and homemade ice cream.

Create decorative elements using chocolate, sugar, and tuile batter for plated desserts and displays.

Prepare custom cakes for weddings, birthdays, and special occasions.

Order supplies through the storeroom (Economat) and coordinate purchasing with the Executive Chef.

Inspect incoming goods, verify refrigerator temperatures, check expiry dates, ensure proper labeling, and organize storage according to food safety standards.

Monitor and record refrigerator temperatures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.

Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout food preparation and service.

Perform regular cleaning and defrosting of refrigeration equipment within the pastry section.

Carry out daily cleaning of the pastry workstation and equipment in accordance with hygiene standards.

Perform additional duties as outlined in the detailed job description.

Your profile Previous experience as a Demi Chef de Partie, Commis Pastry, or similar role in a luxury hotel, fine dining restaurant, or high-end pastry kitchen.

Solid knowledge of pastry production, baking techniques, desserts, chocolates, breads, and ice cream preparation.

Ability to prepare and present pastries and desserts to the highest luxury hospitality standards.

Strong attention to detail, creativity, and consistency in food presentation.

Knowledge of food safety, HACCP principles, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure while meeting production schedules and service deadlines.

Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a willingness to support and mentor junior kitchen staff.

Culinary or pastry qualification from a recognized hospitality or culinary institution is preferred.

Fluency in English; additional language skills are considered an advantage in an international luxury hotel environment.
