We offer an exciting opportunity to join MONTREDO as an Accountant on a full-time, fixed-term basis (35 to 40 hours per week) at our office in Berlin. We are looking to fill this role immediately. After an onboarding period with our previous Finance Manager, you will be the sole internal accountant in the company, working closely with our external tax advisor and reporting to our CEO. Hybrid working: 4 days a week in the office, 1 day remote. Responsibilities Manage and respond to incoming requests via the finance inbox Process incoming invoices in MOSS Process credit card transactions and receipts in MOSS Create manual invoices for services in easyBill (approx. 1 to 5 per month) Prepare imports for banks, payment tools and accounts receivable, and book them in DATEV Make payments and support liquidity planning Support monthly reporting and contribute to year-end closing activities as needed Work under the guidance of our external tax advisor (Steuerberater) and report internally to our CEO Requirements At least 3 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting under HGB Practical experience with DATEV Fluent English; German at B1 level or above is a plus Digitally savvy, comfortable working across multiple finance tools and open to using AI tools in daily work Good attention to detail, a structured mindset and a hands-on approach to recurring accounting processes Proactive team player who enjoys taking ownership and contributing ideas to improve existing workflows Ability to work independently Languages English, C1, required German, B1, preferred What we offer 25 days of vacation Join our success story and work in one of the most innovative start-ups in the luxury watch industry A fast-paced start-up environment with plenty of challenges that help you grow personally and give you real impact in your work A truly international and diverse working environment Work from our central Berlin office with an amazing international team, with the option to work from home or remotely About Montredo Montredo is an international luxury watch company specializing in buying, selling and sourcing exceptional timepieces.
