Control Systems Engineer

h3Control Systems Engineer (m/f/x) /h3 h3Your Responsibilities /h3 ul liYou take ownership of system-level control design (design, simulation, VV, …), contributing to next-generation engine control architectures and digital engineering capabilities /li liYou collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, experts, and customers /li liYou design, implement, and maintain model-based plant/system models and Model‑in‑the‑ (MiL) simulation environments to systematically test, analyze, and validate control functions /li liYou perform evidence-based trade‑off analyses to evaluate and optimize alternative technical solutions /li liYou support application engineers during commissioning activities at test benches and in real-world field applications /li liYou define system-level control specifications, including failure mode analysis, safety and cybersecurity considerations /li liYou analyze, evaluate and document the dynamic behavior and interactions of engine control system elements /li liYou design, develop and maintain engine control system architectures (hardware, software and services) with a focus on performance, quality and reusability /li liYou coordinate with project management and software/hardware development teams to integrate new functions and components, and continuously improve model-based systems engineering methods, processes and toolchains /li /ul h3Your Profile /h3 ul liYou have successfully completed engineering studies in the field of automotive, powertrain, mechanical, mechatronics, electronics engineering, or similar /li liYou have solid experience in combustion engine control system development, including multi‑physics modeling, and ideally engine calibration (performance and emissions) /li liYou are proficient in Matlab/Simulink and embedded software engineering, with strong skills in model‑based systems engineering (MBSE) and signal processing /li liYou are familiar with ALM/PLM and requirements authoring tools, and MBSE environments such as System Composer, Cameo, Rhapsody or similar /li liYou bring an analytical mindset, high learnability, agile methods, and collaborate effectively in cross‑functional engineering teams /li liYou are willing and able to occasionally travel /li liYou are fluent in English /li /ul h3Our Offer /h3 pwe inspire you to take on a responsible position in a dynamic and independent family business?
