Our mission is to combine traditional recruitment and coaching methods with new technology, to provide a tailored and innovative solution to our clients and candidates.The Head of Commercial Supply Chain Europe is a pivotal leadership role supporting our client, an international food manufacturing organisation, in strengthening and transforming its European supply chain function. This role is responsible for driving supply chain excellence across the region, improving service levels, enhancing operational visibility and ensuring strong alignment between commercial priorities and supply chain execution.The role oversees key areas including demand planning, forecasting, S&OP, customer service, logistics and supply execution, with a strong focus on operational performance, continuous improvement and building a scalable supply chain organisation.Key Responsibilities:Supply Chain Strategy & Operational Excellence: Lead the optimisation of the European supply chain function, improving forecasting accuracy, supply visibility, service levels and overall performance through stronger S&OP/IBP processes and inventory management.Demand Planning & Commercial Alignment: Own demand planning processes and ensure close alignment between Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations, translating commercial priorities into effective supply plans.Customer Service & Supply Reliability: Improve customer service, OTIF performance and supply reliability across Europe, managing supply risks and strengthening collaboration across the value chain.Transformation & Continuous Improvement: Drive supply chain transformation by improving processes, implementing best practices and building a more scalable operating model.Stakeholder Management: Act as the link between commercial and operational teams, partnering with senior stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Operations, Manufacturing and Logistics to drive business performance.Leadership & Team Development: Lead and develop the European supply chain team, building accountability, ownership and a high-performing culture.Required capabilities:10+ years’ experience in Supply Chain leadership roles, with strong exposure across demand planning, supply planning, customer service, logistics and S&OP/IBP processes.Experience improving supply chain performance within complex, multi-site or international environments.Ideally experienced within Food Manufacturing, FMCG or Consumer Goods organisations with sophisticated supply chain operations.Strong commercial understanding with the ability to partner effectively with Sales, Marketing and Finance teams.Experience leading transformation, process improvement and organisational change.Proven leadership capability with experience managing and developing teams.ERP experience, ideally SAP S/4HANA.Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on and close to operational detail.Languages: Fluent German and English essential. #J-18808-Ljbffr
