Assistant Accommodation Manager Opportunity at the 4* Court Yard Hotel, Leixlip, Co. Kildare The Court Yard Hotel is part of the Moriarty Group, an Irish owned company involved in both the retail grocery and hospitality industries. The Group currently operates two four‑star hotels – The Bracken Court Hotel in Balbriggan and the Court Yard Hotel in Leixlip, Co. Kildare – and three Super Valu Stores located in Balbriggan, Skerries and Palmerstown, Dublin 20. Approximately 550 people are employed across the Group.
We are currently seeking to recruit an Assistant Accommodation Manager to join our professional and highly skilled housekeeping team. The Role This is a full‑time position working 42.5 hours per week (five days) with a mix of weekdays, weekends and public holidays.
Main Duties
Assist the Accommodation Manager in the day‑to‑day operations of the accommodation department.
Act as the Accommodation Manager in their absence, covering days off and annual leave.
Work with the housekeeping team to ensure all bedrooms and bathrooms are cleaned and maintained to the highest standard.
Ensure the cleaning of all public areas within the hotel.
Collaborate with the Front Office Manager and Reception Team to meet overall guest expectations.
Provide excellent customer care to guests at all times.
Oversee staff training and development.
Manage stock ordering and inventory.
Prepare and manage rosters.
Requirements
Previous experience as an Hotel Accommodation Supervisor is essential.
HACCP training is desirable but not essential.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Enthusiastic, quick learner with strong multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and people/customer care skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Availability for early starts, weekends and public holidays.
